Pickup / Drop off Directions

Arrival

Children are to arrive at school between 8:05-8:20 a. m. No student should be dropped off unless a staff member is present. For the safety of all the children, we ask that you use the drop-off only lane. The first 5 cars will unload at one time. If your child needs help exiting the vehicle, you will need to park your car and assist your child out of the car. There will be staff members on the sidewalk to escort your child into the building through door #7. Once the first 5 cars have unloaded, pull up and the next 5 cars will then unload. If your child arrives past 8:20, the drop-off lane will be closed, you will need to park in one of the visitor parking spaces and walk your child to door #1, where you will sign your child in as tardy. Parents will not be permitted to double park.

Dismissal

Parents turn off the car and walk to the same door that they dropped their child off at when arriving. Cars will be double-parked at this time, and the parking lot will be

closed until all cars are loaded. Cars should pull into the parking lot off of Laramie Avenue only and will be released onto 149th Street turning left from the left lane and right from the right lane once all of the cars are loaded. Additional parking is available along 149th Street and along Laramie Avenue. Only buses are allowed to use the Bus Loading Zone during school hours.

Parents picking up should not come to school before 2:40 to allow time for all PM Preschool students to be picked-up and exit the lot. Kindergarten students will exit the building at 2:45.

PM Preschool Arrival

Children are to arrive at school between 11:50-11:55 p.m. No student should be dropped off unless a staff member is present. For the safety of all the children, we ask that you park in the lot or on Laramie Ave. or 149th Street and escort your child to door #7 Staff will be at the door to bring the students inside. If your child arrives past 11:55, you must park in a parking space, enter door #1 (office), and sign your child in as tardy. No double parking is allowed.

AM Preschool Dismissal

AM preschool dismisses at 10:50 a.m. Parents turn off the car and walk to the same door that they dropped their child off at when arriving. Cars will be double-parked at this time, and the parking lot will be closed until all cars are loaded.
